Special guest Brian Lesh of American Jubilee Headlining Jerry Garcia's birthday August 1st

Brian Lesh and Ross James first met in 2009 in the San Francisco Bay Area, where they were both living and playing music at the time. Lesh, the son of the Grateful Dead's Phil Lesh, and James immediately clicked and have been playing music together ever since.

The founding members of American Jubilee, they have also recently become the foundation of the 'Terrapin Family Band,' the house band at Phil Lesh's Terrapin Crossroads.

While mainly focusing on American Jubilee and the Terrapin Family Band, the two have also recently begun to perform as an acoustic duo, an arrangement that let's them fully explore their country and bluegrass background."

Welcome to the 3Gs

August 1-4, 2013 - Black River Falls, Wisconsin

"If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine, and my tunes were played on the harp unstrung. Would you hear my voice, come through the music? Would you hold it near, as it were your own?"

The Grateful Garcia Gathering is now in its 10th year!

Jerry Garcia fans come from all around to dance and see some of the best jambands in the midwest at the 3G's tribute festival honoring and paying tribute to the Jerry Garcia Band/Grateful Dead's guitarist Jerry Garcia. It also marks the celebration of Jerry Garcia's 71st Birthday, and it is the 18th Anniversary of Jerry Garcia's untimely passing. It's also a time when many fans pay tribute to remember other Grateful Dead members like Ron "Pigpen" McKernan, Keith Godchaux, Brent Mydland, and Vince Welnick.

Surviving Grateful Dead members Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart are still touring and bringing fans enjoyment with their music!

We have leased the campground venue for Jerry Garcia's birthday on August 1-4, 2013 - Black River Falls, Wisconsin for our 10th annual 3G's festival.

Be sure to make your vacation plans now to take off work, because we lots of excitement planned for all! YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS THIS!
